**In this position you will....**

...drive the growth of bolttech’s core exchange offering by expanding our strategic relationship network of Insurance carriers across Asia. You will be developing key relationships with existing and new insurance providers as well as strategically steering them to partner with us and invest in our volume driving and insurance related platform initiatives (i.e. sales campaigns, insurance product set-up, API-fication, STP enhancements, digitalization etc.) on an ongoing basis and in close coordination with our in-country business leadership. By steering insurance carriers to drive additional revenue and digitalization through bolttech insurance exchange you will be helping to solidify bolttech’s leadership in this growing model for insurance distribution. Key markets will include Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines & Indonesia in SE Asia and Japan, Taiwan & HK in N Asia.

**You will be responsible for**
- Develop and execute a strategy to engage with multi/super regional insurers across markets to bring efficiency and consistency in volume driving and product related platform initiatives
- Develop and execute a strategy to engage with large local insurers to secure commercially significant product propositions for the exchange
- Develop and execute a strategy to engage with select fronting partners (mix of multi/super regional and/or local) for embedded products
- Ensure the exchange platform has a steady flow of relevant products that are continually updated and calibrated to meet partner (aligned to partnership terms) and distribution needs.
- Innovate and develop products with carriers that remain relevant for distribution via the platform and fit for purpose to the partner consumer affinity needs.
- Partner with Partnership, technical product, and UW teams to ensure the product portfolio on the platform remains complaint, relevant and commercially viable.
- Steer to generate fee income from insurance carrier partners for volume driving initiatives (e.g. volume bonuses, marketing fees etc.) as well as platform fee (e.g. product set up on platform, maintenance etc.).
- Collaborating with country leads and cross-functional teams to ensure process & systems development to support the development of insurance carrier relationships
- Exploring, identifying, and developing new networks and opportunities; screening your target market to identify and prioritize insurance products and carriers which are commercially sizable and where we have a good probability to win.
- Explore opportunities of distribution within the insurance partners to expand the platform offering to the partners of the carriers.
- Developing strategic initiatives to enhance and sustain business performance, bolttech proposition value for Insurance carriers and market success

**You will require the following qualifications and skills**
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in insurance carrier relationship management and development preferably in banking, brokerage, or an insurance distributor
- Experience in both Life and non-Life insurance would be advantageous
- Have advanced/expert competency for commercial steering of existing relationships and customer & partner focus
- Experience in digital/digitally assisted distribution, embedded finance, fronting via insurers will be considered a significant advantage
- Strong analytical, business case and deal structuring skills
- Excellent presentation & communications skills with senior level executives
- Have advanced/expert competency in collaborative work environments (virtual teams, squads & tribes, matrixed teams etc.)
- Have advanced/expert competency in visioning and communications with CXO suite level to drive partnership development and innovation
- Have advanced/ expert level skills in networking for potential partners
