**Job Category**:Health Care & Lifestyle Information Technology**Job Type**:Contract**Job Location**:SingaporeWe are representing our client (Healthcare MNC) to look for experienced Data Migration Engineer to complement their existing team. The incumbent is responsible to design and develop data migration scripts based on data migration requirements and ensure data migration scripts are working to Data Migration Management Plan.

**Responsibilities**:

- Independently establish deep understanding of the source and destination systems, available tools and environment
- Plan, design, test & conduct Data Migration activities in accordance to specifications & service level
- Manage Data migration program, scripts change through established change request process, traceability & provide status reports to the relevant parties.
- Respond promptly to Data Migration or Data incident, investigate & provide temporary &/or permanent resolution of incidents escalated.
- Provide timely status updates to all relevant parties.
- Conduct root cause analysis, recommend solutions & implement pro-active measures. Monitor effectiveness of implemented measures.
- Monitor the agreed service level (. e.g., service request, system availability), document & maintain the configuration of the systems; provide regular reporting to relevant parties.
- For accountability and traceability, detailed documentation of all activities is expected.
- Provide Data Migration systems related technical advice to stakeholders or project team.
- Clear communication is key in this role.
- Strong interpersonal skills are desired.
- Able to work independently and be accountable.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma/Degree in IT related field, with 2 years of relevant experience
- Possess Oracle, PL/SQL programming knowledge
- Possess relevant system development / maintenance experience using Java, PL/SQL related technologies
- Having worked/currently working in a Medical/Healthcare environment is an added advantage.
