Insignia Ventures Academy (IVA) is a licensed private education institution that offers programs and courses that provides the opportunity for individuals to get a head start in building a track record in the startup space.
IVA is partnered with Insignia Ventures Partners (IVP). IVP is a Southeast Asia early-to-growth stage venture capital firm partnering with unstoppable founders to build great companies. Together with IVP, we offer holistic experiential programs to participants and students who are looking to make a break through in the startup space.
**Programs we offer**:
- **Venture Capital (VC) Accelerator**:Our flagship program, started in 2021, this 12 week immersive program brings fellows through the fundamentals of venture capital to the works behind portfolio management. Taught by the team in Insignia Ventures Partners and speakers from our ecosystem partners, fellows learn from seasoned professionals. Together with the theories, fellows are also required to participate in investment committee meetings where they put theories into practise.
- **StartCXO**:A 12 week program designed to expose individuals to skills, mindset and strategic knowledge to take on C-suite roles in fast-growing startups. The program focuses on preparing participants to navigate the challenges of early-stage, venture backed companies, where rapid growth and dynamic environments demand agile and visionary leadership
**Role Description**
The Program Manager's role would focus on the ultimate goal of delivering successful programmes and initiatives. If you are someone that envisions a better future led by modern education experiences, is a self-starter that knows what "done is better than perfect" means, unafraid to roll up their sleeves and looks at challenges as problems to solve - this is probably the opportunity for you.
You will be expected to adapt to the face pace nature of programmes and that may require working on other aspects of the business. While some relevant experience is preferred, it is not required.
**About the role**:
The role of the Program Manager include supporting the programs end-to-end and has many aspects.
Not all can be listed, but to give a rough idea of the role, here are some of the things that you will do:
- Drive the goals, planning, and execution of cohort programs—from creative ideation through coordination, relationship building, communications, post-event feedback surveys, etc.
- Identify relevant mentors and build out engaging programming
- Lead planning meetings, track budgets, and conduct post event measurement and analysis
- Partner directly with the community and internal stakeholders to bring delightful experiences to life
- Monitor, identify and implement best practices, new tools and methods
- Evolve our approach as needed by developing new events/experiences
- Source for seed stage startups and work with strategic partners
- Assist in other adhoc matters
**The Must-Haves.**
To succeed in this role, here are some of the qualities or skills we think you should have:
- 3 years experience running event programs (both virtual and in-person)
- Relevant experience in fast-paced and dynamic environments is preferred
- Prior experience working with/in incubators, accelerators, venture builders, venture capital, startups, hackathons etc is highly preferred
- Effective communicator, critical thinker and able to collaborate effectively in verbal or written mediums
- Able to build relationships with partners and represent IVA in the ecosystem
- Focus on operational improvements and efficiency
- Strong interest and affinity to technology, startups, entrepreneurship, venture capital, innovation and sustainability
- Able to learn quickly and operate independently
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail: ability to organise a large volume of information and tasks and manage projects with little oversight
- Experience navigating a highly cross-functional environment with multiple executive-level stakeholders
- You are proficient in Google Workspace products (Google Slides, Sheets, Docs etc.)
