Technical Lead, Cloud

The client is a well-known leader (manufacturing industry / Oil & Gas / Chemicals Gas) with a presence around the globe in more than 10 locations.

**Be responsible for design, deployment, and management of our SEA+I Hybrid Infrastructure Services, which includes both regional cloud and local on-premises environments.**

**You will be the technology leader who can deliver scalability, reliability, and availability of our infrastructure across multiple platforms to support our regional business. You will work with local IT teams across SEA+I to manage and optimize their on-prem environment.**

**- Lead the technical solution design and creation of architecture blueprints. Perform systems modelling, simulation, and analysis to ensure the soundness of the solution.**

**- Adopt an analytical approach in developing innovative solutions to align with the enterprise architecture and fulfil the business requirements.**

**Technical Lead, Cloud & Systems Infrastructure (Regional)

**Main Duties**
- Designing solutions architecture
- Guiding solution implementation
- Developing the compelling business case
- Drive compatibility, interoperability, stability, and usability of recommended solution architecture. Provide an approach for testing non-functional requirements. Resolve technical integration issues.
- Manage and administer hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.
- Implement and maintain security measures, including access controls, encryption, and vulnerability management, for hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement infrastructure strategies, taking into consideration hybrid cloud and on-premises components.
- Work closely with vendors and service providers to effectively manage the infrastructure, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and resolving any issues or escalations.
- Plan and execute infrastructure changes and upgrades, while minimizing disruption to business operations.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices related to hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure and propose and implement improvements accordingly.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members and other stakeholders on infrastructure-related matters.
- Provides regular reports on Service level attainment and other KPIs in accordance to corporate regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including infrastructure architectures, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Support risk identification and development of risk mitigation strategies associated with the end-to-end solution.
- Work closely with the project teams to guide the solution during implementation.
- Develop technical roadmaps for continual modernization and risk management.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
**Technical Skills & Experience**
- Over 10 years’ experience in general IT and more than 5 years’ experience in a regional cloud & infrastructure role
- 5 years’ experience in designing, implementation of cloud infrastructure security for large-scale private/public/hybrid cloud infrastructure solutions
- Demonstrated experience in the planning, design and implementation of hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure architecture and security.
- Experience in general IT governance (organizational management, technology evaluation, vendors management, program planning, etc.)
- Project Management and decentralized team coordination experience
- Familiar with enterprise infrastructure and networking solutions, able to review technical details with the team to identify potential improvements.
- Have a good technical understanding of advanced network security concepts and identity & access management solutions.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator Expert, Certified Azure Solutions Architect, Fortinet NSE,) are a plus.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written (C1 English level)
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree (Computer Science / IT) or equivalent through experience
- **Flexibility to travel (20% travel)**
