**Job description
- We are seeking an energetic and well organised individual for a junior role in our group shipping department. _
- The role will include the following: _
- _Handling and arranging shipping documents for Air and Sea shipments & declaration customs permits. _
- _Proactive monitoring of all cargo movement and planning of container trucking schedule. _
- _Coordinate with freight forwarder, hauliers, vendors, and internal parties to ensure daily operation’s functionality. _
- _To observe strict code of confidentiality in relation to information obtained during your duties. _
- _Other ad-hoc duties may be assigned. _
- _Prior experience in the freight industry would be preferred but not essential.**Responsibilities**:

- Internal Customer service excellence
- Responsiveness to a minimum of FIDI standard guidelines.
- To work closely with the move managers, sales & operations teams.
- Preparation of supporting documents prior to packing/loading dates.
- To maintain & update all data in Moveware for files at all times.
- Precise communication to update colleagues in the group of the shipment arrival dates.
- Provide all shipping documents for forwarders/carriers prior the arrival of vessel
- Monitor vessel/voyage close timely and accurately and keep move managers updated.
- Co-ordinate with haulers and warehouse for container truck in/out arrangements.
- To follow up with warehouse and move managers to ensure declare correct cargo volume on all shipping documents.

**Other General Responsibilities**:

- To maintain high standards of personal presentation and ensure personal working area is kept clean and tidy at all times
- To observe strict code of confidentiality in relation to information obtained during the course of your duties
- To strictly adhere to the Company code of conduct policy.
- To seek at all times ways or means to further enhance the organization’s image and reputation, through improvements of presentation and customer service
- To enhance the image of the company
