- Keep the grill area clean and organized, ensuring all tools, equipment, and ingredients are properly stored and maintained.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the safe handling, cooking, and storage of food. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
- Work with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and efficient service during busy periods.
**Job Requirements**
- Prior experience as a chef, with experience in Japanese cuisine preferred.
- Grilling and skewering skills.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure.
- Ability to consistently produce high-quality dishes with precision and care.
- Ability to stand for long periods and handle the physical demands of a busy kitchen environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff and work as part of a team.
- A strong interest in traditional Japanese cooking and yakitori methods.
