- The Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) serves as the regulatory and developmental authority for the early childhood (EC) sector in Singapore, overseeing key aspects of children’s development below the age of 7, across both kindergartens and childcare centres. ECDA is an autonomous agency jointly overseen by the Ministry of Education (MOE) and the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF), and is hosted under the Ministry of Social and Family Development. The Policy, Planning and Development Department in ECDA is a close-knit team that drives improvements across the EC sector by developing innovative and practical policy solutions in close collaboration with our operational departments, industry partners, and various other agencies. As a member of the Policy Unit in ECDA, you will join a dynamic close-knit team that drives improvements across the early childhood sector in close collaboration with our operational departments, industry partners, various other agencies as well as political office holders.

**What you will be working on**
- You will be involved in the following key areas: - Ensure manpower pipeline for the early childhood sector is adequate and of good quality through strong partnerships with government agencies and other stakeholders, and relevant manpower schemes - Review and implement manpower schemes, operations and processes to support sector needs in a timely manner - Manage, assess and process preschool operators’ feedback, requests, and appeals related to manpower issues - Secretariat duties for workgroups and committees

**What we are looking for**
- At least 2-3 years’ experience in policy-making and/or manpower planning - Strong analytical abilities, and excellent written and communication skills to present views clearly and persuasively - Systematic, good attention to details, and manages timelines well - Good team-player with well-rounded interpersonal skills to work across teams and with diverse stakeholders (public and private sector) - Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment - Data analytical skills and/or good Microsoft Excel proficiency preferred
