**Job Scopes & Responsibilities**
- Manage and maintain a comprehensive insurance program for the company's fleet, including vessels' Hull & Machinery, PNI, FD&D, and other relevant insurance policies.
- Collaborate with brokers, underwriters, and insurance providers to negotiate terms, premiums, and coverage enhancements.
- Evaluate and analyse insurance proposals, making informed recommendations to senior management for insurance renewals and adjustments.
- Monitor market trends and insurance regulations to ensure the company's insurance coverage remains compliant and competitive.
- Coordinate and manage insurance claims and incidents, working closely with relevant stakeholders to expedite claim settlements.
- Provide guidance and support to vessel teams, offering expert advice on insurance-related matters.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential liabilities and losses.
- Review contracts and agreements to ensure proper insurance provisions and compliance with insurance requirements.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging risks, and innovations within the marine insurance sector.
- Prepare and present reports on insurance coverage, claims, and risk management activities to senior management.

**Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Qualifications)**
- Degree in maritime law,marine insurance, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in marine insurance management, with a strong focus on H&M, PNI, FD&D, and related coverages.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with insurance brokers, underwriters, and other industry stakeholders.
- At least 3 years relevant marine insurance or claims experience.
- Hands-on person with good communication skills and proven supervisory skills;
- Resilient, possesses a sense of urgency and work well under demanding timeline;
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills.
