**The role**

In line with the creation of our new Sales Area South East Asia (SEA), Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions is currently seeking a Business Line Manager Ground Support. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales Area SEA, the Business Line Manager is a key player in our Sales Area Management Team. The main focus for the Business Line Manager Ground Support will be driving the growth of the Tunneling business and identifying growth opportunities with mining customers in the geography, whilst meeting the needs of our customers.

As a Business Line Manager, you will be fully responsible for directing and controlling the activities of the business line, both internally with our Territories in Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, Mongolia, the Philippines, Indochina and externally. You will develop and implement the Tunneling and Mining strategy and growth plan for the Sales Area and will govern commercial activities and budgets. You’re accountable for delivering against established business goals and objectives. To achieve this, you partner with Division Ground Support (DSI), internal functional owners, territory teams and related business lines.

You will lead, support, and develop product sales, including customer proposals and quotations, together with territory teams. You will drive growth by having a sound understanding of the market and developing a deep understanding of customer business, operations, and processes.

**Your profile**

You are known for driving performance, achieving results, and transforming a vision into a strong plan. You have a passion for cultivating and fostering strong relationships. You are constantly curious to understand the market, our customer needs, our competitors, and what actions we need to take to deliver against established business goals and objectives.

You are a strong leader, skilled in stakeholder management and communicating in English. You have sound experience in sales, business development or another similar fields.

It is an asset if you are fluent in one of the languages in the region, like Japanese or Korean.

You have extensive experience in the tunneling industry (minimum of 5 years), and have tertiary qualifications in mining, engineering, or business.

Importantly, you have a strong understanding of Tunneling principles and modern tunneling methods knowledge especially NATM, D&B and preferably experience with mining and tunneling ground support.
