**Match Group, the market leader in the dynamic and evolving category of dating is offering opportunities in the Communications department team.**

**The Role**

**In this role you will**:

- You’ll manage Communications for Match Group APAC, handling a myriad of issues and coordinating with business development, brand communications, safety teams and government affairs.
- Have placed executives at major tech conferences in the region and have relationships with conference organizers.
- Oversee and manage any crisis scenario, liaising with government affairs, corporate communications and legal, when necessary.
- Manage PR & communications activities for a variety of APAC markets that align with the region’s business priorities.
- Develop a strategy for communicating Match Group’s business story in the region to top tier media.
- Responsible for identifying what is happening in the world with our brand/brands

**We could be a Match if**:

- You have at least 8-10 years of experience in corporate communications, and/or public affairs in APAC.
- You will come from a Tech industry with agency experiences
- Proficiency in Japanese or Korean is a plus
- Experience in a variety of Regional APAC markets a must
- You work with top-tier journalists on a regular basis. You have a strong roster of media relationships and contacts and have a strong curiosity to build relationships with new contacts and can do it with great ease,
- You move with influence but you’re also willing to get into the weeds, meaning you flourish in a 'hands-on' role, adding value at different levels.
- You’re a strategic thinker, nimble and creative problem solver, an inspiring leader, a team player, and an excellent writer/communicator.
- You are confident and creative in writing, capable of crafting everything from executive messaging to consumer-facing newsletters, press releases, and everything in between.
- You are an independent thinker, clearly have a point of view, and are willing to hear others out when they disagree.
- You have a keen ability to think innovatively and connect the dots where others cannot.
- Experience managing crisis communications and developing communications strategies, even when directly dealing with local challenges.
- You know how to keep things simple. You know that communications can be made complex-and will resist and prevent that. You do not need or desire big budgets for big results.
