Assistant General Manager

Cooperating with the general manager, and assisting with staff management
- Oversee all operations and make decisions in General Managers’ absence
- Responsible for making appropriate decisions in a fast paced environment (e.g., assign breaks, cut staff appropriately, side work)
- Supports the Sales Department by seeking out potential business
- Assist the General Manager in all front of the house operations
- General Manager and Department Head business plans
- Manage day-to-day operations of high-volume business
- Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
- Generates revenue by providing assistance to General Manager in managing the reservation system and procedures
- Assists General Manager in budget and expense management by utilizing labor scheduling tools to follow demand patterns
- Assists General Manager in managing staff by conducting staff meetings
- Assist in improving efficiency and increasing departmental profits while managing the company's overall operations
- Delegate responsibilities to the best-qualified employees and enforce all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, training programs, and cultural values
- Maintain project timelines to ensure tasks are accomplished effectively
- Develop, implement, and maintain budgetary and resource allocation plans
- Resolve internal staff conflicts efficiently and to the mutual benefit of all involved
- Work with Sales & Marketing Team on Branding & Marketing Strategic Planning
- Work with Management Team on Business development Projects and Planning
- Learn and assist on the company’s “capital mechanism” process
- Maintain professional and personal calendar of GM’s meetings
- Support & Oversee day-to-day operations, assign weekly performance goals and ensure their completion, and accomplish your own goals
- Provide weekly forecasting visibility to leadership of sales pipeline status and potential to achieve targets,upside and downside risks to achieving target
- In addition, you shall be responsible for discharging the duties and responsibilities which may be assigned to you by the Company from time to time.
**Requirement**
- Must have 4 years and above experience as a Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Pro-active in engaging with team members
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Outstanding organisational skills
- Leadership Skills preferred
