Accounting and Finance Manager

**You will make sure we always know what is going on in the company**

As an Accounting and Finance Manager, you take on a crucial role in AGX’s headquarter team. You will be the primary contact of AGX customers and partners (small and medium-sized freight forwarders) with regard to invoices and accounting. You will make sure AGX’s books are always up to date and set up financial controlling and forecasting in close collaboration with the CEO to make sure there is constant visibility into the company's performance.

As one of the first people on board in the AGX headquarters, you will be able to build and design a full-fledged accounting and financial controlling setup and develop yourself into a leadership role. You will be a core point of contact for customers, vendors and build a basis for investor reporting
- You build all base accounting processes and ensure efficient, accurate, and timely execution
- You prepare all data for necessary government and tax filings
- You create an efficient semi-automated invoicing process, keeping accounts payable and receivable up to date and small.
- You ensure solid invoice controlling as well as timely payment to service providers
- You support the leadership team in providing weekly management reports to investors
- You set up financial controlling, ensure plan - actual tracking across input and output including cash flow and FX.
- You set up a business intelligence, using company data to drive and focus the company in improving key performance indicators
- You initiate smart improvement projects in collaboration with Business Development and/or KPI owners
- You own the global legal entity setup and transfer pricing if necessary
- You act as a core contact for all banks as well as tax advisors, auditors, and authorities
- You build the finance and accounting team in Asia in close collaboration with the CEO

**Requirements**:
What you should bring
- You have a degree in economics/business with a focus on accounting/taxes or business education or further training as an account. CPA strongly preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in finance and accounting in an (international) company or startup with work experience in the SFRS/GAAP requirements of your local region
- You have held a good understanding of business models with mass transactions and automation potentials
- You already have set up new structures and processes
- You have strong spoken and written English communication skills
- You are very detail-oriented and like to work in an organized and structured way. You are able to prioritize tasks in a self-directed manner
- You are committed to a sense of togetherness and professional exchange, guaranteeing constant further development of your team and communication at eye level
- You are willing to ‘get your hands dirty’ in fixing pressing issues while ‘seeing the big picture’
- You are willing to learn and use as well as give coaching feedback to improve
