Research Assistant

As a Project Officer in the School of Medicine, you will be one of the key members of our research projects. You will assist faculty and research teams with data analysis, system development, model building, and management of research projects. If you have a background in computer science and a strong interest in medicine and large language models, this position may be ideal for you.
Job description
- Participate in data collection and analysis
- Participate in building models that combined with LLMs and XAI
- Assist in developing and maintaining systems
- Conduct a user study
- Assist in dissemination of projects, including publishing in peer reviewed scientific journals and popular science publications and presentations
Job Requirements
- Preferably with relevant research experience and/or industrial background
- Knowledge and experience in interdisciplinary areas would be an advantage: computer science and medicine
- Proven experience in managing AI or tech development projects, preferably in healthcare.
- Team player with self-motivation and able to work independently
- Strong interests in applied research and development work
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Good communication skills
- Ensure successful internal and external collaboration in a variety of modes, including face-to-face meetings, phone calls, virtual meetings, and written communication
- Strong interest in AI and medicine fields
