We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a **Senior Specialist, Health New Business Underwriter.**

**Principal Responsibilities**

INCREASING NEW BUSINESS SALES TO KEY BROKERS CHANNEL
- Developing relationships including training, communications, partnership discussions with identified key brokers
- Generating new business pipelines and managing Lead Generation process to increase hit rates for quotations
- Participating and leading tenders/RFP
- Ad-hoc tasks upon request of Deputy Director, Health

DEVELOPING PORTFOLIO OF ACCOUNTS
- Developing relationships with identified Key Brokers to increase wallet share and build strong rapport
- Leading tenders/RFP, including coordinating with global/regional teams
- Contributing ideas for developing customer value propositions, products, solutions for regional/global tenders/RFP

GENERATING AND PROACTIVELY MANAGING LEADS
- Generating new leads
- Ensuring that leads are being managed to meet agreed TAT (Turnaround Time)

GOVERNANCE, DOCUMENTATION AND REPORTING
- Complying and observing Underwriting guidelines, Delegation of Authority and Quotation Control Framework
- Complying with all internal/external compliance requirements, including industry best practices
- Keeping and reporting supporting documentations to satisfy audit and risk management requirements
- Delivering periodic/ad-hoc reports as agreed with Deputy Director, Health

Requirements

**Requirements**:

- 2-5 years experiences in Health and Employee Benefits
- Experience in Group Life & Health underwriting and insurance products; Knowledge of Healthcare industry
- HI, M5, M9 and other required qualifications of Group Life & Health Insurance industry
- RNF will be a plus
