**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist to join our food production team. As the QC Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the consistent quality and safety of our popiah products throughout the production process. Your expertise in food safety at the Singapore level, thorough understanding of quality control principles, and hands-on experience in the food industry will be essential in maintaining our reputation for excellence.

**Responsibilities**:

- Inspection and Testing: Conduct regular inspections and quality checks at various stages of the food production process, including raw materials, processing, and finished products. Perform sensory evaluations to assess taste, texture, and appearance.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure strict adherence to food safety and quality standards, company policies, and Singaporean regulatory requirements. Verify that all production procedures align with approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of quality control tests, inspection results, and corrective actions taken. Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing findings and recommendations for management review.
- Root Cause Analysis: Investigate any deviations from quality standards and collaborate with the production team to identify the root causes of issues. Propose corrective actions and preventive measures to prevent future occurrences.
- Calibration and Equipment Checks: Calibrate and verify the accuracy of measuring instruments and equipment used in quality control. Conduct routine checks to ensure machinery and equipment function properly.
- Training: Conduct training sessions for production staff on quality control procedures, hygiene practices, and food safety protocols. Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the production team.
- Supplier Management: Collaborate with the procurement team to evaluate and qualify suppliers of raw materials. Conduct supplier audits as needed to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Crisis Management: Respond promptly to quality-related emergencies or customer complaints. Lead investigations, implement containment actions, and coordinate with relevant departments to prevent further issues.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum knowledge of food safety at the Singapore Level.
- A Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience of at least 2-3 years in quality control within the food production industry.
- Thorough knowledge of food safety regulations and quality management systems in Singapore.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Certification in food safety or quality assurance is a plus.
