Lecturer / Pharmaceutical Science

[What you will be working on]
- Deliver continuing education and training (CET) programmes to the industry in areas such as pharmaceutical manufacturing technology, sterile/non-sterile compounding, and pharmaceutical formulation development
- Leading and/or supporting research and consultancy work
- Conduct lectures, tutorials and practicums in pre-employment and training (PET) and CET courses in face-to-face settings or via online platforms
- Support curriculum development to ensure alignment of curriculum to industry competencies
- Develop teaching and training materials
- Leverage his/her industry network to create internship opportunities, secure sponsorships for awards, scholarships etc for students.
- Supervise and mentor students in industry/ research projects in areas such as pharmaceutical technology, digitalization and automation, formulation development etc.
- Mentor students in character development and career readiness.
- Provide pastoral care for students

[What we are looking for]
- Relevant qualification in Pharmaceutical Science, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical/ Chemical/ Biomolecular Engineering, Life Sciences, Applied Chemistry or its equivalent
- Preferably with relevant working experience in pharmaceutical formulation research, pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical manufacturing industry or analytical chemistry testing industry
- Proficient in IT skills and in developing online learning materials
- Passionate in teaching and mentoring students.
- Keen to be involved in applied research/industry projects
- Resourceful and able to work independently as well as in teams
