Sr Engr

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Work with Automation and Software development Team to evaluate system interfaces, operational requirements, and performance requirements of overall system.
- Define, support and/or verify test plans for equipment automation and new or updated software to determine if it will perform accurately and reliably according to documented requirements as well as established standards under both normal and abnormal conditions.
- Execute and/or verify test reports to describe program evaluation, troubleshooting, testing, validation and correction.
- Ensure the compliance of Configuration Management System.
- Support Software Validation for Remediation and sustaining programs.
- Support Operational Team in training, updates, software backup and restore process and technical Assessments.
- Other additional tasks may be assigned by the area leader.

**Education and Experience**:

- Bachelor's Degree in in Computer system, Mechatronic, Automation Engineering or related field with 4 years experience of Software quality assurance experience Required or
- Master's Degree or equivalent in in Computer system, Mechatronic, Automation Engineering or related field, 3 years experience years experience of Software quality assurance experience Required or
- Ph.D. or equivalent in in Computer system, Mechatronic, Automation Engineering or related field no experience Required.
- Previous experience working with laboratory / industrial equipment Preferred.

**Additional Skills**:

- Proven computer skills in the use of MS Office Suite.
- Strong documentation, communication (for example, written and verbal) and interpersonal relationship skills, including consulting skills and relationship management.
- Proven knowledge of statistical techniques.
- Knowledge of programming languages (lab view, C++,HP Basic, ladder Logic, etc) is preferred
- Substantial understanding and knowledge of principles, theories and concepts relevant to Engineering.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Substantial understanding of processes and equipment used in assigned work.
- Substantial knowledge of and adherence to Quality systems.
- Strict attention to detail.
- Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to work in a team environment, including the ability to manage suppliers and project stakeholders.
- Ability to build productive internal / external productive relationships.
- Ability to comply with the standards, regulations, procedures and quality manuals applicable to Edwards Lifesciences.
- Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control.
