**Responsibilities**:

- Production of microalgae oil & DHA using fermentation
- Strain optimization by using ATRP or chemical mutagenesis
- Genetic & phenotypic analysis of the mutant strains
- Visit factories and other Wilmar-related research and development centres to inform future research directions
- Attend conference and meeting on topics of interest to Wilmar business
- Formulate and generate new research proposals

**Job Requirements**
- A Ph.D. degree in fermentation and strain optimization is a plus
- Work experience with molecular biology
- Excellent communication skills and a team player
- Ability to work independently
