We are looking for a Director of Procurement (Procurement Shared Services Centre) to join our team
As a Director of Procurement (Procurement Shared Services Centre) we rely on you to ensure adherence to Group and Regional contracts, reduce business costs, and maintain high-quality standards while driving vendor development and building Procurement competencies. As a leader, you will oversee and manage the Procurement team, ensuring smooth operations and performance.
CRITICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Has more than 5 years’ experience of progressive finance leadership experience, ideally within the hospitality or a similarly fast-paced, multi-site environment.
- Demonstrated track record of strategic negotiation, stakeholder management, and leading cross-functional teams; strong analytical and financial acumen.
- Ability to translate organizational goals into long-term procurement plans that balance cost, quality and risk.
- Skilled at synthesizing data to guide decision-making, measure ROI, and improve processes.
- Capacity to manage complex supply chain challenges in rapidly changing market conditions.
- Ability to establish frameworks and strategies for Procurement teams, fostering consistent procurement operations.
- Ability to develop and implement data-driven solutions to optimize procurement processes, enhance supplier performance, and drive cost efficiency.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
- Oversee procurement strategies, supply chain management, and cost control initiatives across all Shangri-La properties in the Philippines.
- Provide leadership and support in procurement compliance for Shangri-La Philippines, ensuring adherence to regulations, evolving procurement policies, and industry best practices.

- Strong problem solving skills to identify issues, analyze root causes and implement solutions. the ability to adept at finding innovative ways to address challenges
- Strong analytical and reporting skills to assess procurement performances, track key metrics and identify areas for improvement.
