**The Role**

This is a senior market-facing, revenue generating role responsible for International Partnerships sales for Asian Football Confederation (AFC) competitions across multiple regions with a main focus on high-value global / Pan-Asia deals from brands based or focused on international markets, excluding China. The role reports to the CCO with a team to manage and will work closely with the partnership strategy, solutions, and deal processing team.
- Develop and lead sales plans and strategies for your markets based on a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the partnerships landscape.
- Seek, identify, and establish relationships with key decision makers of major brands.
- Identify valuable emerging client categories.
- Accurately forecasting future sales and form plans to adapt to constant shifts of the markets.
- Able to secure and lead key business meetings and presentations with senior stakeholders and clients independently.
- Manage the full sales cycle, drawing effectively on upon internal support functions and superiors as necessary from prospecting through the contractual closure.
- Other responsibilities as directed by the Company from time to time.

**Job Requirements**:

- 10+ years sales experience.
- In-depth knowledge of sport sponsorships market (trends, key investors, main rights holders etc.).
- Strong existing relationships with relevant key stakeholders across the region.
- Strong presentation skills with ability to hold a meaningful conversation with senior key stakeholders of major international clients.
- Dynamic, sales driven and result oriented with proven track record in delivering high-value (multi-million dollar) deals internationally.
- Demonstrated skill in negotiating and closing sales agreements.
- Passionate about sponsorship/partnerships and genuinely engaged in the ambitious vision that AFG have for football in Asia.
- Strong relationship builder who is comfortable operating across multiple markets.
- Experience in the APAC region especially in the Asian market.
- Frequent travel is needed.
- Fluent in spoken and written English with additional Asian language.
