**Summary**:
A Scientist is required to manage projects and perform experiments focusing on cell-based assays. Develop new assay protocols and cell culture models for identified topics. Develop cancer organoid culture and perform drug screening.

**Essential Functions**:
1. Planning, management, coordination, and financial control of cell based assaying projects

2. Perform laboratory tests and data analysis to produce reliable and precise data to support scientific investigations

3. Support the company in its go to market strategy in pre-sales and post-sales support.

4. Keep up to date with technical developments, especially those that improve reliability and efficiency

5. Develop new assay protocols and cell culture models on identified topics relevant to the field

6. Derive organoid models from human tissue samples and perform drug screening for clinical studies in adherence to company SOP’s.

8. Will need occasional travel to other labs overseas in sharing or learning new organoid culture and assay technologies

9. Inventory management, update accounting records on Navision.

10. Actively contribute and support the implementation of process improvement programs.

11. Conduct literature searches on identified topics relevant to the field.

12. Any other duties as may be assigned by the Company.

**Requirements**:

- PhD degree in cancer biology / life science relevant fields
- Prior cell culture and molecular biology lab experience is a must. Experience working with iPSC / MSC / primary cells / human tissue / 3D cell culture / PDX would be highly desirable
- Prior experience in image base analysis/flow cytometry analysis will be an added advantage
- Understands technical requirement, project management and be able to provide support in the translation and commercialization of the company’s cell based assaying business.

**Salary**: $5,000.00 - $7,000.00 per month
