This role can be structured as credit bearing for those who requires a credit bearing internship
**Key Responsibilities**
As an Asset Management/Investment Analyst, you will:
**Product development**
- Conduct in depth market analysis on the various investment structures available globally. These structures should include Singapore VCC, Cayman SPC, Bermudas SPV, Hong Kong Unit Trust and SICAVs.
- The analysis should provide an overview of the regulatory framework governing such structures.
- Build a comparison table across these structure. Including information such as regulatory requirement or restriction, initial setup fees, tax treatment, Audit requirement, legal offering documents requirement, subscription and redemption model etc.
**Client relationship management**
- Research on the Single Family Office and Multi families office (SFO/MFO) regulatory framework locally.
- Be able to understand and present the key features of SFO/MFO specifically on fund tax incentive scheme section 13O and 13U.
- Research and present the latest update on the MAS requirements to setup a SFO/MFO.
**Compliance and Risk Management**
- Study and understand the ongoing MAS regulatory requirement for a Capital Market Service (CMS) license in Fund Management.
- Research on the current best-practices for a Fund Management Company (FMC) such as Anti-Money Laundering, Counter Financing Terrorist (AML/KYC), Business Contiunity Management (BCM).
- Review the current FMC Compliance manual and ensure the manual is up-to-date with the latest MAS guidelines such as MAS outsource guidelines, technology risk management guidelines and any other relevant guidelines applicable to the FMC.
- Create a risk matrix to identify vulnerability within the FMC, and provide relevant solution to close the gap on these vulnerability.
