Investment Operations Manager- Multi Asset

We are a fast-growing private fund managing multi-asset investments in both public and private markets.
Responsibilities include:
- Ownership for monthly performance reports of portfolios.
- Investment Operations Strategy : Developing and implementing investment operations strategies to ensure efficient and effective investment processes and workflow.
- Risk Management and Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing changes to streamline investment operations and enhance operational efficiency.
- Involvement in investment management
- rebalancing portfolios, asset allocation etc
- Performance Monitoring: Monitoring and analyzing investment performance metrics, including portfolio returns, risk measures, and benchmark comparisons, to evaluate the effectiveness of investment strategies and identify areas for improvement.
- Deal execution: Overseeing trade settlement activities and ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation of investment transactions
- Ownership of Bloomberg Port Technology - Ensure operational efficiency, data integrity, and enhance reporting capabilities
- Reporting and Documentation: Generating and presenting investment operations reports, including investment performance reports, risk reports, and compliance reports, to internal and external stakeholders.
- Track and review performance of existing holdings.
- Market Scan & proactive tracking of macro & micro trends
- Support with research and analysis on investment opportunities across various asset classes including equities, fixed income, private equity, and private debt.
- Assist in preparing investor packs and recommendations for investment committee and board approvals
- Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned
**Requirements**:
- Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics.
- Working knowledge of investment products, financial markets, investment operations, and industry regulations. Familiarity with various asset classes, such as equities, fixed income, Alternatives
- Prior experience in investment operations or related roles is required, with a minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are necessary for analyzing investment performance metrics, identifying trends, and conducting risk assessments. The ability to interpret complex data and generate meaningful insights is highly valuable.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills are necessary to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced investment operations environment
- Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to identify operational inefficiencies, develop solutions, and implement process improvements is crucial for optimizing investment operations and enhancing efficiency.
- Leadership and Communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders, and presenting investment operations information to senior management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and familiarity with Bloomberg / Other portfolio management software.
- Detailed-oriented and high level of work quality.
- Good written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, hands-on, takes initiative and be able to work independently.
