Medical Content Strategist

This position is primarily responsible for providing high quality medical strategy and content for health care/pharma prescription brands. The medical content strategist will also help provide education and medical information support to internal teams and will help ensure accuracy of medical content within agency deliverables.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work with internal teams, clients, and others to develop high-quality scientific and medical content
- Conduct research concerning a variety of therapeutic areas and educate internal teams regarding various disease states and products
- Provide medical expertise and/or content for strategy and creative teams
- Collaborate with strategy and creative teams to ensure medical content and messaging accuracy
- Medical concept writing and content for Detailing aids, patient education materials
- Support strategy team as needed for competitive intelligence and new business needs

**Requirements**:

- Pharmacy Degree/ Life sciences / or MD (in medical related field preferred); other professional clinical degree with appropriate experience considered
- Strong medical research skills
- Experience in writing scientific content (eg, articles, slides, ad boards, disease state education)
- Ability to quickly grasp the intricacies of a variety of therapeutic areas
- Excellent communication skills
- A desire and ability to work in a creative environment
- Highly self-motivated and an ability to be self-directed
- Attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple timelines and work independently
