**Roles & Responsibilities**

**CLIENT SUMMARY**

Our client is in the **ID verification space,** one of **the fastest and sophisticated provider, **centered on addressing the gap of missing tool to engage in critical high-trust services by building an identity data protocol that surfaces merits in the form of legal, financial, and work data. They are setting up their presence in SEA, and Singapore is one of the key strategic country to grow their base.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

We are seeking an experienced leader to help us build out our data product infrastructure at The Company through a mixture of public and private partnerships. This person will be responsible for **researching, negotiating, and supporting the product team in integrating identity databases and other data points **(financial, telco, social, gig economy, etc.) in South-East Asia.
- Drive the database acquisition and execution of the regional data roadmap
- Ensure qualitative and quantitative growth of data points in the region according to clients' needs
- Research and develop a deep understanding of databases in the region
- **Manage the entire partnership process and relationship for the region, f**rom sourcing partners to negotiating contracts and lobbying regulators & government agencies
- **Coordinate database acquisition, testing, and implementation with key stakeholders in the team,** including product, legal, and sales
- Monitor regulatory landscape and ensure product compliance with legal team
- Provide guidance on the development of government relations for database and policy targets

**REQUIREMENT**
- Experience in** identifying, negotiating, and closing product partnerships**:

- On the ground operational experience in South-East Asia
- Network with relevant regulators and corporates in **Indonesia or the Philippines a plus**: central banks, fintech regulators, telcos

**GOOD TO HAVE**
- Any of ASEAN languages a plus: Bahasa, Tagalog, Thai, Burmese, Mandarin, Khmer, Lao, Malay, Tamil, Vietnamese, etc.
