**Success for this position will involve the intern understanding the FinTech/ FIG landscape in Southeast Asia through hands-on experience with FS and completing at least one value-adding Corporate Development project.**

**What you will do**:

- Support fundraising Initiatives:
i) Work closely with Corporate Development AD, Capital Markets team, CFO, CRO, CEO as well as external parties on equity/ debt fund raising strategies.

ii) Prepare engagement materials, including pitch decks development, financial modelling, and comparison analysis.
- Assist on M&A transactions, especially target(s) due diligence work, financial modelling, potentially working with external service providers (e.g., consulting/ advisory firms) and post-merger integration with invested firms.
- Lead in some special projects;
i) Set-up market/ competitor analysis warehouse to keep management abreast on global market trends and best practices.

ii) Work with Corporate Development and Capital Markets teams on setting up a securitization framework.

iii) Engage with commercial/ investment banks on potential collaborations / ideas.
- Any other ad hoc task assigned.

**Requirements**:
**What we are looking for**:

- To fulfill the duration of the internship requirement for a **_Minimum of 6 months_**:

- Must have familiarity with the FIG or FinTech sector, either through prior internships or CCA (e.g., sector analyst, CFA institute challenge).
- Highly motivated to contribute and learn, a self-starter that takes initiatives to value-add to the organization.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Enjoy the fast-paced environment.
- Microsoft Office knowledge (Excel & PowerPoint). Experience with (scientific) market intelligence databases (Bloomberg, capital IQ, Factiva etc) would be nice to have.
