**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Orthotics Fitting & Adjustment**: Assist in the fitting and adjustment of orthotic devices (e.g., braces, insoles, splints) according to the prescribed specifications and patient needs.
- **Patient Support**: Provide guidance to patients on how to wear, adjust, and care for their orthotics. Answer any questions patients may have regarding comfort, functionality, or potential issues with the device.
- **Measurement and Evaluation**: Support the orthotist in taking accurate measurements of patients' body parts to ensure proper orthotic fit, and document measurements for patient records.
- **Patient Education**: Educate patients on the benefits of orthotics and provide instructions on their proper use and maintenance. Encourage patients to report any discomfort or issues with the devices promptly.
- **Patient Comfort & Safety**: Ensure that the fitting process is conducted in a comfortable and safe environment, and provide emotional support to patients who may be anxious or unfamiliar with orthotic devices.

**Key Qualifications**:

- **Education & Experience**:

- Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant, Clinical Support Worker, or in a similar healthcare role is preferred.
- Knowledge of or experience with orthotics, medical devices, or physical therapy is a plus.
- Basic understanding of anatomy and patient care techniques.
- **Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Compassionate, empathetic approach to patient care.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and assist in the technical aspects of orthotic fitting.

**Work Environment**:
This role will involve working in a clinical setting, which may include patient care areas and offices. The position may require standing for extended periods, assisting patients with mobility, and performing physical tasks related to the fitting of orthotics.

- Ability to follow health and safety procedures to ensure patient safety during fittings.
- Willingness to undergo any required training specific to orthotics fitting and patient care.

**How to Apply**:
Pay: $2,000.00 - $2,800.00 per month
