Responsible for overall Finance function in the region, incl. financial planning & analysis, and controlling. The Finance Manager as Business Partner & Controller ensures business management and understands key decisions and actions needed to meet profit objective.

This role is a direct report to DSS Chief Financial Officer and a member of the AP Business Leadership Regional Team. The position incorporates a balance of Leadership Team membership and opportunities for Individual Contribution such as business analysis and project related work at both regional and global levels.

The position includes overall responsibility to ensure DSS external financial statements are prepared in accordance with local accounting principles by country and that internal management reports are consistent with established policies and procedures.

**More specifically, you would have**

**The AP Finance Business Partner and Controller**:

- Member of strategic planning process, leads financial evaluation of strategic plan as well as financial assessment of prospective business opportunities/initiatives;
- Manages at Regional level Controllership/Tax/Treasury/Audit/Credit/etc in close collaboration with Global Finance and BPO;
- Ensures timely and accurate delivery of statutory, tax and Finance legal requirements in 14 legal entities across the AP region, supported by the BPO and external partners.

**The successful individual will provide comprehensive counsel and guidance to the business on all finance and accounting issues and business results, including**:

- Provides financial decision support on structuring and negotiating commercial arrangements;
- Guidance to AP Regional Leadership Team on strategic and tactical financial planning;
- Business analysis, insight, and interpretation of business results;
- Management reporting and metrics (ensure appropriate focus and usefulness);
- Key Performance Indicators, such as project profitability, utilization rates and working capital management;
- Analysis of monthly financial results and assuring the accuracy of information included in published financial statements;
- Sets “Tone at the Top” to ensure impeccable internal controls and financial hygiene;
- Responsible for determining cash needs and ensuring liquidity in the Region and timely cash repatriation to dss+;
- Support in M&A transactions and integration.

**Additional**
- Lead the creation/preparation of each year’s objective;
- Co-ordinate monthly financial outlook with Market Leaders;
- Is aware of external trends and new tools within the Finance discipline and leads to their implementation and utilization;
- Understands and is aware of external market trends and the ability to influence decision making opportunities in relation to the immediate and long term economic environment for dss+;
- Leads implementation of regional or global Finance projects;
- Participate in the global dss+ Finance team;
- Support Business Leadership on ad hoc projects (e.g. D&RA, Geographical Expansion, Capital projects, M&A, etc.);
- Support client engagements in terms of developing business case.

**Who are you?**

**Knowledge, Educational Qualification, Skills and Experience**:

- University Degree in Economics, Accounting or Finance. 7+ years of experience in a financial role (including experience in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow modelling, investments, etc.). MBA/CPA required;
- Knowledge of IFRS and Regional local GAAPs;
- Experience in Management Consulting Industry;
- Strong analytical abilities to explain variances in business performance;
- Demonstrates leadership/influence skills and ability to drive to completion initiatives involving other functions and businesses;
- Demonstrates ability to understand key elements of an increasingly dynamic business, including critical relationships along the value chain;
- Experience of the internal control practices and financial processes;
- Understanding of financial and legacy s
