At StoryIQ, we envision a world where data is a language that we all speak fluently. As a trainer on our team, you will be delivering our market-leading data storytelling and data analysis courses. Our courses focus on teaching our learners skills they can use the next day. They are practical, fun to teach, and an excellent opportunity to share your skills and expertise in data, analytics, and business outside of a traditional "corporate" job. We have openings for contract and part-time positions.

As a facilitator of StoryIQ courses, you will lead a series of discussions on essential concepts and skills to put together beautiful, engaging charts and insightful, data-driven presentations. You'll support learners in determining how to develop data projects that derive value and lead stakeholders to action by sharing practical frameworks for developing high-value business questions and effective hypothesis testing through analysis. You'll run interactive workshop tasks that help participants put their new skills into practice and provide hands-on feedback and support to them.

Presently, most of our training is virtual. You will primarily work with clients in the Asia-Pac. This role is highly flexible and autonomous. As part of this role, we ask that you be available to deliver courses outside of business hours from time to time.

This role will be fully remote, though there may be the possibility of live in-person training once it is safe to do so.

**JOB REQUIREMENT**

**Applicant Requirements**
We're looking for someone who loves data and teaching others. Our global team is filled with passionate and charismatic people from a wide range of career backgrounds who show the ability and interest to be dynamic and engaging instructors.
- At least five years of professional work experience
- Strong analytical thinking skills
- At least three years of experience in data analytics and data visualization
- An understanding of business intelligence and business analytics
- A talent for explaining technical ideas in clear, understandable ways
- An authentic and engaging presence
- A willingness and interest to travel once it is safe to do so

Not required but an advantage to have Experience designing and building dashboards
- Advanced understanding of Power BI and/or Tableau as well as Excel
- Experience in a consulting role
- Fluency in a language other than English at the business professional level
