This position is for K2 Strategic Pte Ltd, a company under Kuok (Singapore) Limited.

Task & Responsibilities:
Digital Infrastructure:

- Understand K2’s existing portfolio and underlying strategic focus around digital infrastructure
- Develop an internal network within Kuok (Singapore) Limited to facilitate internal stakeholder engagement in relation to K2’s corporate development & strategy
- Develop an external network to engage external stakeholders in relation to K2’s corporate development & strategy
- Develop, review, assess and execute on new business opportunities related to K2’s digital infrastructure strategy. These will primarily relate to hyperscale data centre development/investment opportunities, but may extend to related digital infrastructure sectors such as digital connectivity businesses, terrestrial and subsea fibre-optic infrastructure, and relevant supply chain businesses
- Prepare internal and external presentation materials that will encompass financial, business and industry-related content
- Create, review and update financial models related to digital infrastructure projects
- Project life cycle management, including securing internal approvals, land acquisition, appointment and coordination of external consultants, supply chain tendering and coordination, construction stage budgeting and oversight, customer engagement and contract negotiation, and transition from development to operational phase
- M&A transaction life cycle management, including securing internal approvals, appointment and coordination of external advisers, financial modelling, preparation and review of transaction materials, budgeting and oversight, transition from acquisition to integration and operational phase

Renewable Energy:

- Understand how K2 RE’s mandate relates to K2’s underlying strategic focus around digital infrastructure
- Develop an internal network within Kuok (Singapore) Limited to facilitate internal stakeholder engagement in relation to K2 RE’s corporate development & strategy
- Develop an external network to engage external stakeholders in relation to K2 RE’s corporate development & strategy
- Develop, review, assess and execute on new business opportunities. These will primarily relate to utility scale renewable energy (e.g. solar, wind, hydrogen) development/investment opportunities that will facilitate K2’s digital infrastructure growth in key markets, but may extend to ancillary renewable energy sectors such as battery energy storage systems, microgrid development, electricity grid support services, and relevant supply chain businesses
- Prepare internal and external presentation materials that will encompass financial, business and industry-related content
- Create, review and update financial models related to renewable energy projects
- Project life cycle management, including securing internal approvals, land acquisition, appointment and coordination of external consultants, supply chain tendering and coordination, construction stage budgeting and oversight, customer engagement and contract negotiation, and transition from development to operational phase
- M&A transaction life cycle management, including securing internal approvals, appointment and coordination of external advisers, financial modelling, preparation and review of transaction materials, budgeting and oversight, transition from acquisition to integration and operational phase

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance / Corporate Finance / Economics from a well-recognised university in Singapore or overseas
- CFA / CPA qualifications would be seen as an advantage
- Financial modelling certifications would be seen as an advantage
- At least 5-6 years in an investment banking / corporate finance role, with a specific focus on M&A transaction advisory responsibilities
- Personality suited towards a fast-paced, everchanging work environment where short-term priorities may change swiftly but where the individual will be required to define and anchor long-term priorities for the benefit of the business
- Demonstrated ability to work as a strong team player who can quickly and effectively connect with and leverage off the strengths of colleagues
- Opinionated individual with the confidence to convey independent points of view whilst remaining open to feedback, learning and wider opinion
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (primarily in English, Mandarin would be seen as an advantage)
