**Roles & Responsibilities**:
- Strategic Planning:
- Research, formulate and facilitate the implementation of the company’s mid and long-term strategy and adjust and update the strategy according to the changing internal and external environment;
- Break down the strategic targets and track and monitor the implementation of the strategy;
- Gather information and data of macro economy, policies and regulations relating to the development of the company, to research and assess industrial structure and dynamics, and to conduct analysis on the strategic environment and benchmarking exercise.
- Investment Project Development & Management:
- Responsible for the origination and investment project management as well as project planning, market research, negotiation, due diligence and feasibility study;
- Responsible for the approval process for fixed assets and equity investment activities, formulation and update of the company’s investment management directives and processes and supervising execution;
- Responsible for the communication, compilation, formulation, submission and update of annual investment plan;
- Support the Finance Department in fund raising in the capital market;
- Responsible for the management of subsidiaries’ fixed assets procurement, construction and expansion.
- Operational Management:
- Responsible for the management of the performance appraisal on the company by Board and CNAF and the performance appraisal on subsidiaries;
- Responsible for the equity management of subsidiaries, holding companies and associated companies, including but not limited to equity registration, review and record of basic management systems (e.g. Company Constitution and joint venture agreements), filling and related statistics of shareholders and equity information, organising researches or reviews on the issues of board meeting and General Meeting of Shareholders, contribute to ensuring the Company’s benefits and rights based on the equity share;
- Responsible for the registration of new property and the upkeep of the record of the existing property of the Company;
- Responsible for the establishment and improvement of the company's investment liability investigation system for illegal operations, and to carry out the investigation of investment liability for illegal operations.
- Company Reform and Restructuring:
- Responsible for the formulation and implementation of the reform and restructuring plans of the company, its subsidiaries and associated companies in which the company has control;
- Responsible for the company demerge, merge, insolvency and restructuring.
- Safety production and technology management:
- Responsible for establishing and improving the management system of production safety, occupational health and environmental protection of the company, supervising and inspecting the implementation of the company, subsidiaries and associated companies with actual control rights;
- Publicise, implement and organise the implementation of safety and environmental protection work instructions from Board of Directors and CNAF to ensure the effective operation of the company's safety committee;
- Responsible for the science and technology management duties as assigned by CAO and CNAF, including project planning, market researching, implementation, etc.
- Responsible for the communication with various departments of CNAF such as Strategic Planning and Development, Operational Management, Technical, HSSE, Engineering and Procurement.
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Management.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor in Investment/ Finance/ Management/ related field or equivalent;
- Min. 10 years relevant working experience, preferably in commodities trading companies;
- Min. 5 years of team lead experience with excellent people management skills;
- Familiar with oil-related trading business and investments;
- Possess strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, business savvy and financial acumen;
- Good organisational, time management skills and stress tolerance with proven ability to manage multiple priorities;
- Possess excellent command of English and Chinese languages (as the position needs to frequently communicate with English/Chinese-speaking stakeholders both orally and in writing as well as to prepare and proof-read English/Chinese official documents and presentations whenever appropriate).
