Databricks GTM strategy entails close collaboration with Cloud (Microsoft, Amazon & Google) partners to assist our customers in achieving their data & insight objectives. Databricks service is used along with services offered by cloud partners to power end-to-end solutions. In addition, Databricks relies on underlying cloud infrastructure and services to power its functionality. Close engineering and GTM collaboration with cloud partners are critical to long-term value delivery for our customers.

The APJ Cloud Technologist will lead the technical business development with all three clouds in their respective geographies. In this role, the Cloud Technologist will work with partner and Databricks stakeholders to drive alignment around product integrations, joint GTM sales play, and build learning and development plans to ramp partners on Databricks platforms and its key differentiators.

The Cloud Technologist will play a critical role in growing our cloud partnerships. To be successful, you will need to be collaborative, process-oriented, and have an understanding of the Data & AI space. You must have played strategy and scale roles in the past and can work cross-functionally to drive critical outcomes. You will report to the Senior Manager, Partner Field Engineering.

**The impact you will have**:

- Drive Lakehouse thought leadership with cloud partners
- Build technical executive relationships with key technology leaders at our cloud partners.
- Foster connection between Databricks and cloud technical field leadership. Drive programs to ensure consistent field engagements between parties.
- Collaborate with product management and business development on product integrations and technical certifications of the Databricks platform.
- Collaborate with business development to build joint sales plays with cloud partners. Institute programs to launch and govern the adoption of agreed-upon sales plays.
- Engage learning and development leaders to build and deliver an enablement plan for cloud partner technical fields.
- Be an advocate for cloud partners across key Databricks stakeholders.

**What we look for**:

- 5 -10 years of experience working with Microsoft, AWS or GCP
- Worked in strategy / corporate role in Data & AI space
- Ability to work cross functionally to scale programs and own the outcomes
- Understands Big Data market and key Databricks differentiators
- Prior development experience with SQL / Python / Scala or other programming languages
- Experience with the measures and prioritizes Partner development activities based on revenue impact
- Understands and cherishes the fast-paced environment of a high-growth company
