**Responsibilities**:
- Support the development and execution of a comprehensive strategy to expand Jefferies private credit and debt capital markets business in Asia, with an emphasis on the SEA region.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to identify market opportunities, assess risks, and implement effective strategies to maximize profitability and market share.
- Contribute to the origination of private credit opportunities across various sectors, including corporate loans, mezzanine debt, distressed debt, and special situations.
- Responsible for the structuring and execution of private credit transactions, ensuring optimal deal structures and risk management frameworks.
- Foster relationships with investors, corporates, and other key stakeholders to drive business growth and expand the bank's private credit offerings.
- Liaise with internal teams, including legal, compliance, and risk management, to ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to internal policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support deal origination, due diligence, and credit analysis processes.
- Work closely with junior team members to provide guidance, mentorship, and support their professional development.
**Qualifications**:
- Significant experience in private credit, investment banking, capital markets or a related field, with a strong focus on structuring and experience within the SEA region.
- Proven track record of successfully originating and executing private credit transactions across various sectors.
- Strong understanding of private credit term sheets, credit analysis, risk assessment, and deal structuring within the Asia market.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks is essential.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to collaborate effectively and support junior team members.
- Excellent business acumen, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, investors, and corporates.
- Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
