Working with our Hong Kong Studio, Riot has been expanding our footprint in Asia and accelerating our talent growth to develop games that deliver great experiences to our players. Our mission is to "scale Riot's games to hyper-serve players."

We partner with our LA headquarters on League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics, Legends of Runeterra, and VALORANT. We're also contributing to projects in development, including Project L, our take on a fighting game. The Singapore Studio is seeking talented, passionate Rioters with backgrounds in all areas of game development to build games that make it better to be a player.

**That's where you come in**

As a UX Designer at Riot, you are responsible for design work in high-scope product areas that are complex and ambiguous. Your work includes end-to-end experience design, often spanning multiple features and teams. You work from concept through development, participate in agile product development, and partner closely with Visual Design, Research, Product, and Engineering to achieve common goals.

As a UX Designer on VALORANT, you will be responsible for designing solutions that enable players to express themselves and their identity in the game. You will work closely with Lead Designers and your cross-discipline teams to produce strong UX flows through engaging and intuitive control schemes and layouts. You will report to the UX Design Manager.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring clarity of vision, experiential quality, and consistency across features end-to-end.
- Participating in ideation and envisioning work with workshop facilitation, storyboards, journey maps, prototypes, or other appropriate contributions.
- Delivering an appropriate level of design artifacts for the team (e.g., strategy, research results, journey maps, flows, wireframes, and/or prototypes).
- Communicating data-informed vision and design rationale to the team and stakeholders.
- Driving light research efforts (interviews, small studies) independently, partnering with Research for more outstanding efforts.
- Building trust and cultivating relationships across teams, game teams, and other departments at Riot.

**Required Qualifications**:

- 5+ years as a professional UX Designer.
- Proficient with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or other industry design and prototyping tools.
- A professional portfolio with examples of your past work.
- Strong communication and empathy skills.

**Desired Qualifications**:

- Experience working with teams distributed across several countries and time zones.
- Experience designing for a live service product (game or other).
