The following are intended to be examples of the accountabilities for which the person in this position is responsible. - Performs cost and schedule duties under the guidance of Lead Engineer / Program Manager.
- Define cost estimation scope, clearly document assumptions and constraints, develop costing methodologies, and align all stakeholders with the outcome.
- Provides cost and schedule assistance to the proposal, engineering, project, contracts, and construction management departments.
- Develop project integrated project schedule using MS PROJECT / Primavera Project Management.
- Processes project Management of Change.
- Runs reports, reviews data and costs in conformance with Client & Program Manager guidance
- Interfaces Contract’s team to ensure correct cost coding and payment request processing of contractor and vendor invoices.
- Participate in bid process and evaluation of contractor schedule submittals.
- Review progress schedules and technical change order submittals affecting project schedules.
- Ensure effective project implementation and utilize productive reports from the creation of WBS with the use of project management system to monitor the status of all purchases, invoicing, and delivery up to the closure of the project.
- Provide cost control and planning advice to the internal PMT team as and when required.
- Coordinate and work with the project management team to resolve project issues to ensure the delivery/completion of the project work.
- Attend project meetings and discussions with the PMT and external clients.
- Develop and implement requirements for cost recording, reporting, and analysing standards, programs, and reports. Performs performance monitoring and control functions for projects.
- Assist with vendor progress measurement, WBS, variation analysis, cash flow and forecasting
- Assists Program Managers with forecasting cost at completion.
- Assists in the financial closeout of projects and contracts.
