You will be responsible for strengthening Office of Deputy Group Chief Medical Informatics Officer (Research) (Office of DGCMIO (Research))’s branding in the SingHealth Research community via the planning and implementation of various data science projects. You will support the supervisor in overseeing the analytics projects for the department through the use of machine learning, statistical, algorithmic, mining and visualisation techniques. You will plan and lead complex data science projects from initial funding proposal to design through to implementation, prototyping and testing. You will manage the operational and administrative functions to ensure the projects can proceed smoothly as well as liaise with stakeholders effectively. You will oversee and review the Trusted Third Party (TTP) workflow in SingHealth to facilitate safe and secure sharing of clinical data for research and other valuable purposes. You will also explore new anonymisation treatment, software or tools for structured and unstructured data, and develop the anonymisation standards in compliance with PDPA. In addition, you will work on common data standards to facilitate data sharing across institutions and agencies.
You will manage a team of Senior Analysts and Analysts, providing guidance and developing them. You are also expected to provide operational and administrative leadership for the department and drive work processes integration. You will instil a culture of quality customer service in the team when dealing with both internal and external customers.

**Job Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in disciplines of Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics
- 8 years of relevant experience with at least 2 years of managerial / supervisory experience. Prior experience in healthcare industry would be an advantage.
- Experienced in Project Management methodologies and concepts
- Knowledge on Clinical Research guidelines is preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills and a team-leader who is able to work with staff of all levels and various stakeholders
- Driven, independent and meticulous worker who is able to manage priorities
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
