We are looking for a **Building Engineer (External Works)**to join a hospital construction project with one of our key clients—a reputable civil and general construction company engaged in high-impact infrastructure projects locally and internationally.

This role focuses on overseeing **external works**related to **steel structures**such as link bridges, façades, and supporting systems in a **hospital environment**, requiring a high level of coordination, quality control, and adherence to healthcare construction standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and oversee **external works**related to the hospital project, including **steel link bridges**and related structures
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and consultants to develop and implement project specifications
- Ensure **steel components**are manufactured and installed according to **healthcare facility requirements and structural design standards**:

- Conduct **structural analysis**to ensure safety, integrity, and long-term performance of steel elements
- Supervise the **on-site installation**of structural steel components
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for **timely delivery**of materials and equipment
- Track project milestones and provide **regular progress updates**to project stakeholders
- Address and resolve **technical issues**that arise on-site, particularly those affecting hospital operations or interfaces
- Ensure strict compliance with **health, safety, environmental**, and **infection control regulations**:

- Maintain comprehensive documentation including **as-built drawings**, **inspection reports**, and **method statements**

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in **Civil Engineering**, **Structural Engineering**, or equivalent
- At least **3 years’ experience**in **building construction**, with exposure to **hospital or healthcare projects**and **external works/steel structures**:

- Strong knowledge of **structural steel**and **reinforced concrete systems**, particularly in medical infrastructure settings
- Familiarity with **healthcare facility codes**, **construction safety**, and coordination with M&E services
- Excellent **project management**, **coordination**, and **problem-solving skills**:

- Strong **communication**and **stakeholder engagement**capabilities
- Highly organized and capable of working both **independently**and in a **cross-disciplinary team
