The Dementia Research Centre (Singapore) is seeking a highly motivated and innovative professional to take a leadership role in the design and development of cutting-edge digital health products aimed at transforming cognitive health care. This role is critical in bringing our groundbreaking solutions from lab to market, driving innovation and significantly impacting the dementia and health technology space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead design thinking sessions and ideation for new product development.
- Understanding cognitive and behavioural psychology and human-digital interfacing to translate traditional testing to digital.
- Map and optimize user journeys and experiences for cognitive health apps.
- Design and develop high-fidelity prototypes that embody cutting-edge digital health solutions.
- Facilitate focus group discussions, clinical interviews, and iterative prototyping to refine product designs.
- Ensure seamless human-computer interaction (HCI) that enhances usability and accessibility for users.
- Leverage expertise in cognitive psychology to design programs and games tailored for individuals with cognitive impairments.
- Studying the effect of digital and human interactions for study participants.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Design, Psychology, Digital Media, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in digital projects, particularly in health technology, game design, or neuropsychology-informed interfaces.
- Demonstrated expertise in high-fidelity prototype design, user interface (UI) design, and user experience (UX) research.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing.
- Proven ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Passionate about using digital solutions to advance cognitive and mental healthcare.
