Team Summary**
The Asia Pacific regional communication team creates and delivers communication programs that drive Visa’s business growth and advance and protect the company’s reputation. Within this team, the Corporate Communication & Reputation team focuses on communication programs to support the region’s leaders and prominent business functions including Asia Pacific’s President and senior leadership team, Products & Solutions, Merchant Sales & Acquiring, Risk, Consulting and Analytics, Technology, and Strategy. We work across external, client and employee communication activities to promote Visa’s ongoing strategy to extend our payments network into new areas of opportunity and position ourselves as the partner of choice for banks, merchants, fintechs, technology companies and governments. In close partnership with the business functions, our team defines the company’s positions in the region on a wide range of industry topics and delivers corresponding thought leadership content.
**What a Manager, Corporate Communication does at Visa**:
In this role, you will work with the AP leadership team to develop strategies to best tell Visa’s story to our clients. You will conceptualise and deliver communication programs to highlight Visa’s critical growth pillars and how these support the growth of our clients’ businesses. You will support the development of regional thought leadership communication including content for external, client and internal audiences. This includes comprehensive corporate storytelling collateral, media and social campaigns, and stakeholder education delivered via a mix of channels including events.
In this role, you will be the key support for the creation and successful delivery of strategic regional client events including Visa’s Senior Client Council, Visa Client Forum and the regional Security Summit.
It is vital for the applicant to demonstrate knowledge and capability in helping regional and local business and communication teams engage stakeholders and reinforce Visa’s vision for the future of commerce as it relates to our long-term commitment to uplift economies. In addition to delivering high-quality communication programs, you will support Visa’s leadership team in some of the region’s most complex functions, helping them talk about their business objectives in a way that has a meaningful impact in the communities in which we operate. You will also play a key role in ensuring the company’s public and client-facing messages in Asia Pacific are communicated with a whole-of-Visa perspective, breaking down internal silos and coordinating across geographies to make sure all content, from press releases to speeches, is consistent and aligned.

This team creates and leads many of the highest profile communication programs in the region. We oversee the Asia Pacific communication strategy to define and articulate Visa’s network evolution as it relates to innovation, trust and corporate citizenship. On a tactical level, you’ll support the delivery of regional strategic events and play a key role in developing thought leadership content for senior leaders.
