**Job Purpose**
- Ensure compliance with Group’s policies and relevant laws/ regulations in respect of financial matters and contribute positively to the company’s profitability and return on investment by exercising effective cost control measures and asset management.
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate financial and management accounting functions
- Overseeing day-to-day accounting functions which include:

- Ensuring that accounting for monthly / quarterly / yearly closing are completed on time and accurately
- Ensuring compliance to accounting standards
- Review of accounts reconciliations and schedules
- Oversee annual audit and annual statutory accounts
- GST and tax computations and filing
- Continuously review internal control processes for effectiveness and relevance, and recommend improvements
- Ensuring capital expenditure requests are within budget
- Provide advice, guidelines and instructions to shared services centre and review their performance according to Service Level Agreement
- Provide support to Reporting team to formulate budget and forecasts
- Cashflow and foreign exchange management
- Review and co-ordinate insurance coverage of company’s assets
- Collaborate with Digital Technology team - user acceptance tests for new programs, automation to improve work processes, parameters and interface set-ups, etc.

**Job Requirements**
- University degree or professional qualification (e.g. ACCA) in Accounting or equivalent.
- At least 8 years of working experience in finance & accounting
- Preferably has audit experience
- Preferably has automotive experience
- Strong knowledge in areas of accounting, taxation, finance, commercial law
- Strong excel skills
- Strong business acumen and excellent interpersonal skills

**Working hours**
- 5 days’ work week
