We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a **Product Specialist / Trader.**

**Principal Responsibilities**

Mandate of Fixed Income Specialist Dealing Role
- Execution of OTC bonds, exchange traded bonds and bonds new issues placed by clients directly and through RMs/ CSEs /ICs
- Provide fixed income advisory services to the RMs/CSEs/ICs based in Singapore and clients booked in Singapore

Key activities of Role
- Execute role mandate
- Place and execute orders for Fixed Income products received via phone or eFOS and direct dealing client (execution only)
- Process orders in eFOS for bonds issues in a timely manner and adhere to the best execution policy
- Send out information on new primary issues to RMs/CSEs and ICs
- Provide / update information and coordinate / place / allocate orders for new bond issues and placement issues for Fixed Income products (see products handled below) to RMs/ CSEs /ICs
- Provide market information and updates to RMs/CSEs/ICs
- Work with RMs and ICs to conduct portfolio reviews.
- Coordinate with Operations to ensure trades settle timely
- Create and distribute ad-hoc and monthly MIS reports to internal parties
- Enhance workflow, where possible, i.e. coordinate with IT on eFOS issues and Operations for settlement issues
- Provide trading ideas and investment strategies to RMs/CSEs/ICs
- Provide technical advice on market views and product features (for both new primary & secondary traded bonds) to RMs/CSEs/ICs
- Present and communicate Fixed Income ideas to ICs and RMs in morning presentations and weekly marketing team presentations
- Meet clients with RMs/ICs
- Advise on corporate actions (such as tender offers and consent solicitation)
- Provide and collate quality feedback on new issues
- Conduct Product Due Diligence on bond fundamentals and monitor news on specific bonds / credits on Focus List
- Back-up key activities of team members

Requirements

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience in private banking and wealth management industry with strong knowledge on managed products
- Relevant qualification in Finance or Economics or related disciplines. CFA charter holders well regarded
- Strong understanding on individual securities or specific asset class would be an advantage
- Excellent communication and presentation skills are required
