Store Manager

We are currently looking for a Store Manager for our first Singapore store, who can demonstrate incredible hospitality, provide exceptional leadership behaviors, wants to run a business as if it was their own, having a love of bikes would be great, however not essential. At Trek, our Retail store teams endeavor to create great ride experiences for our customers. They spend their days inspiring people of all abilities to explore the potential of cycling. That is why we view each member of our retail team as Guides who demonstrate both empathy and authority to understand our customers’ problems and have the expertise to provide them with a customized experience based on their specific needs. Every Guide is empowered to provide incredible hospitality and tailor the experience to all those we welcome into our stores.

About the Store Manager role:
As the leader of the team, you will be responsible for the management and activities of all aspects of the store's operations including:

- Coaching, driving, and inspiring your team to deliver on all performance objectives whilst creating a positive store culture.
- Owning the Trek brand and delivering exceptional customer experiences by following Trek's sales process.
- Delivering financial results and achieving sales, margin, and inventory targets through the optimization of retail KPIs.
- Leading the team to deliver excellence in visual merchandising, operations, and store processes.
- Establishing weekly, monthly, and annual objectives that tie to the overall store sales strategy and cost management plan.

**Skills and experience**

A career with the Trek Bicycle Retail team demands resourcefulness and ambition, a focus on quality, simplicity, and the love of a challenge. You will leverage on your knowledge and experience to guide our customers towards their perfect bike, resulting in an exceptional customer experience. You are a confident decision maker with great communication skills and experience in managing stakeholders from all areas of the business. Additionally, you will have:

- Demonstrated an ability to lead and work cooperatively in a team.
- Extensive experience delivering a high level of hospitality to customers.
- Passion and involved in cycling
- Knowledge about and the local cycling communities and clubs in Singapore and have the ability to interact with them.
- A minimum of 4 years general retail experience and 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven record to increase sales and profit.
- Excellent strategic and problem-solving skills.
- Sound computer proficiency especially in working with MS Excel confidently
- The ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
