Process & Quality Control - Alloy Scrap Metal

Singapore ABCOM PTE. LTD. Full time

Inspect and approves incoming materials by confirming specifications, checking with XRF analyzer to confirm the alloys as per material bought. Rejecting, and returning unacceptable materials.

Correctly identify and record inspection data such as weight, grade, content, and quantity of scrap metal through documentation, pictures, and reports.

Identifying defects, irregularities, or imperfections in metal products. This includes any deviations from quality standards.

Perform general housekeeping duties in yard as needed.

Provide backup or assistance throughout the yard as needed or assigned.

Direct the unloading of scrap to ensure safe and orderly traffic flow within the facility.

Actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting and implementing process enhancements to enhance overall product quality and efficiency.

Inspecting output samples using industry-appropriate methods, such as comparing to standards, measuring dimensions, and examining functionality.

Monitoring the use of equipment to ensure it is safe and discard any that do not meet requirements.

**Prior work experience requirements**:

- Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to appropriately work with and otherwise interact with other company associates, customers, vendors, and the public.
- Problem solving skills
- English reading and writing skills
- Basic math skills
- Willing to work overtime and weekends when necessary
- Willing to work overtime and weekends when necessary

Min. 2 years of experience in QC or process Control Operations of the company.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $2,500.00 - $5,500.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

- 13th month salary
- Overtime pay
- Performance bonus
- Yearly bonus
