**About the role**

**Responsibilities**:
The incumbent will be responsible for:
1) Provide connectivity and solutioning support to institutional clients trading into regional equity markets.
2) Generate new institutional business through active prospecting and liaising with industry partners.
3) Provide DMA supervision, trading and operational support to institutional clients.
4) Daily client servicing, risk and client exposure monitoring.
5) Vendor liaison, outage management and trade reconciliation support.
6) Work closely with internal support units to resolve client queries or create new product/service offerings.
7) Work closely with middle office and backoffice operations to ensure trade settlement.
8) Liaise with client services, legal and compliance departments for client onboarding, KYC procedures and other ad-hoc tasks.
9) Prepare internal reports to facilitate strategic business planning.
10) Perform and assist with UAT sessions for any client system or trading system changes.

**Job Requirements**

To thrive and be successful in this role, you must have / be:

- Bachelor Degree or higher.
- CMFAS certificates (M1A, M5, M6, M6A), or exempted from respective CMFAS exams a plus.
- Understand trading ecosystem lifecycle is a plus.
- Understand and differentiate between various equity market's microstructure is a plus.
- Understand basic algo trading logic is a plus.
- Hands on exposure to regional equity markets is a plus.
- Hands on exposure with client onboarding process is a plus.
- Hands on exposure with trading platforms and sales trading coverage is a plus.
- A strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
- Fast learner, possessing the willingness to learn and a can do attitude.
- Meticulous and good with numbers.
- Comfortable with change, ambiguity, debate, conflict and informed risk taking.
- Multi-tasker who can manage multiple streams of work concurrently.
- Strong team player with entrepreneurial instincts.
- Able to work on Singapore public holidays as other markets are trading.
