**Instrument Business Development Manager - SEA & Korea
Reporting to the Head of SEAK Wholesale and dotted-line to APAC Instrument Business Development Head, this will be role will be successfully carried out by, not limited to:

- Managing and accountability for total Instruments Net Sales for SEAK all Out of Group business, across all channels
- Delivery of Gross Margin targets for SEAK all Out of Group business, across all channels
- Focusing on results by analyzing and measuring monthly business trends and marketing initiatives to determine and deliver KPI metrics, and influence if necessary, working closely with Regional Finance controller
- Sales Tracking: weekly monitoring and tracking of sales within the regions, to include weekly reporting of trends and weekly, monthly, quarterly estimate status, ensuring planned sales volume and product mix is achieved within respective cluster/markets and thereby, the SEAK region
- Developing broad and deep relationships at all levels in the cluster/markets, so as to be viewed by as a trusted advocate of each cluster/market’s business and to be able to effectively influence commercial targets
- Support the identification and execution of all new business opportunities within each cluster/market, working in-step with the Head of SEAK Wholesale and the Head of APAC Instruments Business Development
- Management of all commercial mechanisms
- Identifying and executing product initiatives to optimize the portfolio of products and brands within the cluster/market’s business to ensure broadest availability of products and sell-out Ensure appropriate portfolio requirements/needs are coordinated to maintain relevance and competitiveness within the relevant cluster/markets and channels. This includes leading effective sell-in and appropriate create demand within the cluster/markets and to deliver downstream execution of all NPI launches.

**Key Requirements**:

- Bachelor / Master degree in Sciences and with strong business related discipline plus 8+ years of industry experience with proven sustained high performance
- Must have intimate knowledge of Instruments category (and sub-categories) served and relationships with other categories (fully understand consumer’s eye care experience)
- Must have intimate knowledge of EssilorLuxottica R&D Lens manufacturing and technical/measurement technologies
- Must have excellent leadership skills
- Proven success at mobilizing resources
- Must have excellent strategic business planning skills
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Be financially astute, aware of budgets while attaining excellent margin results against plan
- Strong analytical acumen to focus on progress and results, identifying needs and areas for improvement
- Demonstrate creativity and innovative thinking
