**Job Summary**:
Altonomy is looking for an experienced site reliability engineer to join its growing community in Singapore. You will be responsible for efficient and sustainable operations of our cutting-edge cryptocurrencies trading systems. This is a rare opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with other like-minded engineers, quants, and traders to tackle real world challenges in the emerging DeFi space.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with development teams to gain an in-depth understanding of our systems
- Develop tools and automations to improve the reliability and resilience of our systems
- Manage and scale our cloud and Kubernetes infrastructure
- Manage and enhance the observability (i.e. monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting) of our platforms
- Proactively detect abnormalities, analyze issues, and resolve problems in our systems
- Contribute to the firm’s technical roadmap
- Contribute to inter-team and cross-team efforts to ensure success of the business

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar disciplines
- Good communication skills
- Interest in financial markets (with at least a basic understanding of cryptocurrencies)
- Must be able to multitask and work with mínimal supervision
- Proficient in Linux operating systems
- Familiar with cloud computing services (e.g. AWS, GCP)
- Experience working with containers and orchestration tools such as Rancher and Kubernetes
- Experience working with CI/CD tools such as TeamCity
- Experience in managing both SQL (e.g. PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g. Redis, MongoDB)
- Working knowledge of Python scripting is a must
- Experience in other SRE tools (e.g. Ansible, Prometheus, Loki, Grafana, Opsgenie) is a plus
