**Responsibilities**
- Placing purchase orders with suppliers for the procurement of all production

products and material as required
- Sending RFQ to suppliers and compiling quotations
- Coordinating the introduction of new suppliers and/or materials, due to new product
- development requirements- Ensuring and promoting compliance to company procurement policies and
- procedures- Proactively reporting product and material availability issues
- Assisting with the development and implementation of procurement policies and

procedures

**Requirements**:

- Currently enrolled in a Logistics / Supply Chain / Manufacturing Operations /

Engineering program in an institute of higher learning
- Proficient with MS O
- ce suite - advanced skills with MS Excel
- Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
- Excellent organisation, communication and follow-up skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
