**What will you do?**
- Enhance the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design of an online platform: a national self-help platform for mental health support.
- Ensure accessibility, usability, and engagement for diverse user demographics, including individuals seeking mental health resources and support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, content creators, and mental health professionals to understand user needs and platform objectives.
- Conduct user research, surveys, and usability testing to gather insights and inform design decisions.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile platforms, adhering to best practices and design principles.
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback, analytics data, and stakeholder input.
- Ensure consistency and coherence across the platform's various sections and versions
- Incorporate accessibility features to accommodate users with diverse needs and disabilities.
- Collaborate with developers to implement designs, providing guidance and support throughout the development process.
- User personas, journey maps, and empathy maps to inform design decisions.
- Wireframes, interactive prototypes, and UI designs for web and mobile platforms.
- Design specifications, style guides, and design systems to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Accessibility audits and recommendations for improving the platform's accessibility.
- Design assets and resources for developers, including iconography, typography, and visual elements

**Requirements**:

- Propose design decisions that are desirable for users, viable for the business and feasible technically
- Solid experience working as a UI/UX Designer
- Keen understanding of underlying technology and mediums. For example, how a web browser works and renders pixels on the screen. Knowing how to code is an additional advantage.
- Have a portfolio of shipped digital projects that are in use
- Skilled in **Figma**:

- 3 years of experience of designing websites and/or mobile apps
