At the Economist Intelligence Unit’s Healthcare Division (EIU HC), we believe that actionable strategy for our client is built on the basis of market realities, where data insights and its robust analytics drive informed decisions. For that reason, we have developed a data-centric market tracker solutions called,
**The Gateway** that aims to provide the medtech sector with credible, actionable and granular size, share and growth insights globally.

Accountabilities:
**How you will contribute**:

- Analyse datasets by deploying various analytic models, research methodologies (primary and secondary), quantitative tools and modeling techniques
- Conduct secondary source data/ insights search
- Perform conceptual checking, logic and sense check to ensure data quality is up to standards
- Utilize information, data insights to produce robust analysis and conclusion
- Trouble shoot, if required, on any issues arising with data sets and processes
- Maintain active databases covering multiple product lines on an on-going basis based on specifications and manage quality control process
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the end-to-end product development is seamless and incorporate all key features
- Manage and work with external primary research partner to ensure research is carried out based on specified design, inputs received are quality checked and timely delivery
- Engage with clients to deliver data insights and findings

Experience, skills and professional attributes:
**The ideal skills for the role are**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Science or Business
- 1 to 2 years of experience in business analysis in the medtech/ healthcare sector
- Numerate and strong analytical skills with love for data crunching, visualization and reporting
- Adept in delivering product demos or presentations to clients and prospects
- Some working knowledge and experience in one of the following programming language such as SPSS, Python, R or STATA MLwiN
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and another Asian language (such as Japanese, Bahasa Indonesia)
- Experience working and delivering in an agile development team environment
- Capacity to handle high degree of multitasking on a daily basis
- Highly analytical, organized and meticulous
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate teams and work well with people at all levels in the organization
