**Key Responsibilities**:
- Ensure a robust API Q1, API Q2 and ISO 9001 lean QMS are implemented, understood and practiced at all levels.
- Perform the role of assistant Management Representative. Perform full range of QMS activities individually and as directed by the QHSE Manager.
- Conduct Monthly Quality Meetings. Assist QHSE & Engineering Manager in Management Review Meetings -collect inputs for quality objectives and process performances including actions for improvements.
- Assist with maintaining API Monogram register and conduct product compliance audits in accordance with API Products Specifications.
- Perform Internal/External Audits to ensure that the API and procedures’ requirements are fully complied with and report all findings to Management.
- Prepare / update quality manuals, procedures, work instructions, quality plans, etc. and support department to develop specific procedures as when required.
- Ensure latest revisions of relevant standards and specifications are available for access. Conduct gap analysis when specifications undergo updates.
- Provide new employee orientation and in-house trainings on quality for building a quality culture and improving the staffs and workers understanding on QMS requirements.
- Maintain NCR/CAR/PAR portal. Lead investigation into customer complaints, internal NCRs. Manage root causes analysis, determination of corrective and preventive actions, track the implementation, its effectiveness and closure.
- Lead quality system improvements in consultation with QHSE Manager. Provide quality improvement suggestions related to manufacturing processes, including on machining, welding, heat treating, NDE, etc.
- Perform Monthly Shop QA Surveillance Audits and report problems affecting QMS and potential discrepancies that require immediate actions.
- Comply with Company’s HSE Policies and Procedures and perform HSE activities as arranged.
- Work with QC Inspector (CMM) in maintaining up-to-date calibration of equipment and records.
- Perform review of calibration reports as required.
**The Person**:
- Engineering degree or equivalent.
- Must be certified as ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor.
- Min 5 years of experience in QA within Oil & Gas industries.
- Min 2 years of experience in leading / conducting Quality Management System audits, Supplier audits.
- Experience in API Spec Q1 / Q2 standard is preferred.
- Knowledge in welding, machining, NDT, test and assembly processes is required.
- Knowledge in API Product Specifications and ASME standards will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge in subsea control and drill-through equipment manufacturing will be an added advantage.
- Well versed with knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel & Power Point.
- Effective problem identification and solution skills, eg. Root cause analysis.
- Self-committed behaviour, willing to accept challenges and responsibilities.
- Good communication, interpersonal, presentation and technical writing skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, reading and writing skills in English fluently.
- Analytical skills, such as knowledge of statistical tools and mathematical concepts.
- Auditing competence and understanding of root cause, corrective and preventive actions.
- Proactive, good interpersonal skills and good attitude.
- Basic knowledge in understanding engineering drawings and symbols.
- Proven analytical and organizational ability.
